Visual Production Agency Pty Ltd (ABN 82 612 059 677) ('Visual Production Agency', 'we', 'us') is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals whose personal information we collect through our website (vpagency.com.au) and in the course of providing our video production and photography services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as a matter of good practice.

1. What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details you provide through our enquiry and quote forms, your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry.
• How you arrived at our site, when you submit an enquiry we record the source of your visit (for example a search engine, a referral link, or an advertising campaign, including advertising click identifiers), the page you landed on, and the page you enquired from. This helps us understand which of our marketing brought you to us.
• Website usage information, pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions such as video plays and button clicks, collected through Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
• Session activity, we use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors move through the site, including mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and taps, so we can see where pages are confusing or not working. Recordings capture on-page behaviour, not the contents of anything you type into a form field. Clarity masks text input by default.
• Advertising data, we use Google Ads, and Google may set cookies to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Our advertising landing pages use the same measurement described above.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you submit an enquiry or quote request, contact us by phone or email, or engage our services. We collect website usage information automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our site. Enquiry form submissions are delivered to our inbox via Web3Forms, a form-delivery service.

3. How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your enquiries and provide quotes;
• deliver and administer our video production and photography services;
• understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it;
• measure which marketing channels and campaigns generate enquiries;
• meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information. Your contact details are never shared with analytics or advertising platforms, analytics data is limited to anonymised usage and arrival information.

4. Third-party services

Our website uses the following third-party services, each of which may process limited data as described:

• Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager, anonymised website usage measurement.
• Microsoft Clarity, session recording and heatmaps used to understand how visitors use our pages. Microsoft may use this data in line with its own privacy statement.
• Google Ads, advertising measurement on our advertising landing pages.
• Web3Forms, delivery of enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
• Cloudflare, website hosting and content delivery.
• Vimeo and YouTube, some videos on our site are played through these platforms, which may set their own cookies when you play them.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for the analytics, session-recording and advertising measurement described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the website will continue to work.

6. Storage and security

Enquiry details are delivered to and stored in our business email. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Some of the services above may store data outside Australia (including in the United States) under their own privacy safeguards.
